Longwood Youth Theatre Experiance is the best experiance I've ever had! Between the magic onstage and the craze backstage, it's what I live for. Thank you so much cast, crew,and Mr. Story! hey everyone, it's me Iris Don't call me Kim, I just wanted to let you know that Mcgann-Mercy is having a talent show and a Christmas Tree Lighting on December 20th at the School, 6:00 in the evening! I'm performing and I thought you guys would be interested at coming, if you're still not, there's gonna be free hot cocoa, also, admission is free! It'll be fun and I thought you'd enjoy it! LYTERS!!!! Lesley is FINALLY home and can't wait to see all of you!!! I miss LYTE SOOOO much you've no idea...and I'm so excited you're doing Aladdin! One of my favorites shows and it's made me think about everything that LYTE has done for me. You know something, Paul? Ever since I was a little girl, Aladdin was my favorite movie, and I would always tell my grandma "I'm going to grow up to be the princess Jasmine." And then LYTE did Aladdin! That role forever gave me confidence; if it wasn't for LYTE, I never would have had the courage to keep on auditioning for shows. Now, as a musical theatre major in college (when did that happen?!?), I am SINCERELY appreciative for everything my LYTE family has ever done for me. LYTE gave me a home in the theatre. If it wasn't for you guys, I never would have had the belief in myself to pursue my dreams. Now I am working hard to make a life for myself in the theatre. And after every let down from an audition, the frustration and exhausti
on from late night rehearsals, I think of the days at LYTE, and remember why I'm doing this. After all, my dream of becoming the princess Jasmine came true at 15; who knows what other dreams of mine might happen sometime soon? Thank you Paul and Suzanne, and my LYTE family. ahhhh it's been an entire summer without lyte and i'm going crazy i miss you guys so much sorry but i had to work a full time job this summer!!! but i'm coming to see willy wonka this thursday i got off work especially for you guys i'm so excited to see it!!! i'll be leaving for school in 2 weeks, and as i'm flying 3,000 miles away to new mexico i won't see you for a few months :( But i PROMISE to visit over the holiday vacation for the winter session, i've got a whole month off so hopefully i will be home :D best of luck to all of you in the show; even more luck to those of you entering high school the shows there are a blast! i can't wait to see what the next generation of lyters accomplish...best of luck all of you in the upcoming year and please FACEBOOK ME ALL OF YOU!!!! :D cheers, lesley

Yo! i wanted to tell you guys that LYTE is probably one of the best programs, well it IS the best program I've ever been to. It's the one place, besides my home, that I'm really accpeted in. I have absolutely no one I dislike. Occasionally there might be a person who miffs me off a bit, but compared to everything else! It's nothing! I love Lyte and I love the people! i want to say thanks to Cloe, Dan, Matt, Courtenay, Ebony, Hayley and Olivia for helping me feel happy. I'll do everything in my power to go to Lyte next Summer. 8/4/07 I just wanted to thank you for doing such a great job with the play. I was so amazed that the show was only rehearsed in 3 weeks and WHAT A PERFORMANCE! I am very interested and placing Sam in your fall program. I really think you all are wonderful people giving up your time for the children. This is such a positive thing for them and it helps them with self esteem. 8/1/07 What can I say...? I applaud all you kids in every way possible. I can't even begin to believe how a show can be put together so fast and be so amazing. I can't even remember how I did but watching all of you is so great. This summer with LYTE was filled with many fun times and some serious times. But geeze look at this show! ITS AMAZING! I couldn't ask for bigger smiles and cheesier gestures, you guys make my dances look easy when you know at times they weren't. Each and every one of you has SO much talent and I've seen a lot of you break out of your shells and become the funniest people ever. CHLOE # 1 !! 7/28/07 To the Story family, cast, staff, and audience of the Mulan show, I just wanted to apologize for what I did during the Thursday night performance. Some of you may know what I did and some of you may not. I choose not to explain in great detail, but what I will say is that what I did was extremely inappropriate and it was all completely my fault. Anybody who was offended by my words please, forgive me and don't blame L.Y.T.E for it truly is a great program. I was careless, I spoke without thinking, and I take full responsibility for what I did. That's all just part of growing up not just to be able to mess something up, but to be able to own up to it. That's what makes a person who they are and what their limits can be. I realize this now. Once again please don't blame the program it was my fault and I'm very sorry. 6/28/07 So sad to hear about Wally. It was an absolute pleasure working with him in Oklahoma. He loved every one of us. The postcard was sweet. That was actually his favorite part of Oklahoma... when all the girls were around him and he would yell "WOW" as they pulled him off. Remember?? Good times. Hope everyone is doing well. 4/1/04 Hey, LYTE is totally the best acting program ever invented!!! The directors and the drama coaches the costume designers the choreographer and anyone else i forgot... they all treat you like family! the best thing is you make friends and you get to have fun along. 4/16/04 I liked all of the l.y.t.e. performances, especially the ones with Daniel Rambadt in them. He is the best, i wish i was him. I think his best performance was when he played rooster in annie.i also liked when he played Greylag in honk. but when he was the stewart in Into the Woods i think he needed more experience. 6/10/04 hey, I just wanted to say that i had the best time in Honk... and in Annie.... and in any in the future shows too... lol well anyway.... I just wanted to say thank you ... you guys treated me like family that truly does mean a lot to me... Mrs Story you were the one to teach me how to act... if it wasn't for you... i wouldn't be where i am today... 7/15/04 Hi everyone! =)This is my first time in LYTE ever, but it's been great! All of you are excellent, especially you Story's! You've all done so much to make me feel right at home. All of you are such great people and kids, don't ever change! And to my aftercare friends- I'm so proud of your work on The Sorceresses of Farquar. It was worth staying up all those hours writing it! Despite my constant shouting, you guys sort of learned it's moral in the end-friendship and teamwork will conquer everything else! Well , firstly, I am sorry that I have ignored my friends and have not joined LYTE sooner because now that I have I see that it is...well, simply put: awesome. I look foward to it and such because it is just loads of fun. Secondly, Mr and Mrs Story, you guys rock. This theater group is just..well, I described it above. 4/29/05 WOW....aladdin was simply amazing last night!!! ya'll have worked so hard for the past month and ur princess is soooooo proud of you!!!! the amount of time you are given never matters; ya'll put everything you got into it, which makes ya'll pull it off in only 20 rehearsals!!! idk if i can join summer, which i'm very sad about, but i will be back in fall no doubt!! LYTE is the most amazing and wonderful experiance that any kid could ever join; Mr and Mrs Story thank you for everything, you are so kind and loving; before LYTE i never had any confidence in my singing (being an alto not a soprano) now i know that sort of thing doesn't matter, and that there is no such thing as a small part, only a small actor!!!LOL...cris thanx to you i think my 2 left feet are starting to go away!! i'm getting better!! 2 everyone in LYTE, thanx for ur luv and support the past year; u have no idea what it meant to me to have others who appreciated and enjoyed my luv for acting and singing!!!! I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH AND I WILL SEE YOU SOON!!!!

3/16/06 Hey, whats up on that warm computer chair, looks comfy . Well GET OFF IT AND GO TO LYTE. Its so much fun and our directors rock. If you dont know much about LYTE then heres the right feed back for you. ITS FUN. Oops forgot a few little things. Every session (which there is three of a year) we put on a production. This session is "Your a good man charlie Brown" We do dances and sing and did i mention that its fun.
